Slow Moving (MAs) Averages Crossover Trading Strategy

This is also good forex trading strategy Slow MAs Crossover
Select any time frame & currency of your choice which respond the best (1 hour, 1 day… or any other).

1.   Open Chart of required currency
2.   Use candle stick pattern for the chat.
3.   Then put/place following INDICATORS on  chart

Indicators: (multiple of 7) 7 SMA, 14 SMA, 21 SMA. (use following colours)

When to Enter Trade:
you can enter the trade, when 7 SMA goes through 14 and continues through 21, BUY/SELL in the direction of 7 SMA once price gets through 21 SMA.

When to Exit Trade:
please exit when 7 SMA goes back and touches 21 SMA.

Advantages: it is an easy set up and does not require any calculations or other studies. Can produce very good results during strong market moves, the system also can be easily programmed and traded automatically.

Disadvantages: System requires periodical monitoring according to a chosen time frame. SMA indicator signal can be confirmed after the current price bar has been fully formed and closed. In other words, when SMA stops changing and the signal is fixed, traders may rely on such information to open a trade.

یہ بھی سوفٹ وئیر كا ایك اہم ٹول بار ہے-  اس کو ٹرمینل ونڈو كہتے ہیں- جب  ہم كوئی آرڈر دیتے ہیں تو وہ اس نیچے والی ونڈو میں آجاتا ہے- اس كی مدد سے ہم دیكھ سكتے ہیں كہ ہمارے اكاٶنٹ كا موجودہ بیلنس كیا ہے- ہمیں اوپن ٹریڈز میں كتنا منافع یا نقصان ہو رہا ہے- ہماری كتنی اوپن ٹریڈز ہیں-   اس كی مدد سے اپنی تمام closed trades بھی دیكھ سكتے ہیں-  اب ہم اس كی تفصیل دیكھتے ہیں اور اس كی مدد سے مندرجہ ذیل معلومات لے سكتے ہیں یا كمانڈز دے سكتےہیں-

ٹریڈ ونڈو:     اس میں موجودہ اكاونٹ بیلنس٬ موجودہ اكوئٹی٬ مارجن یوزڈ٬ فری مارجن اور مارجن لیول  معلوم ہوتا ہے جیسا كہ نیچے تصویر میں نظر آرہا ہے-

بیلنس : 153.42 ڈالرز موجودہ بیلنس ہے- موجودہ بیلنس سے مراد یہ ہے كہ فرض كریں ہم نے 100$  سے اكاونٹ اوپن كیا پھر ٹریڈز كیں جن میں 53.42$   كا نفع ہوا

 اور یوں موجودہ بیلنس(ہماری پہلی انویسٹمنٹ جمع منافع)100 + 53.42 = 153.42$  ہوا-

اكوئٹی- اس سے مراد موجودہ بیلنس   جمع /نفی موجودہ ٹریڈز كانفع/ نقصان ٬ جیسا كہ آپ اوپر دیكھ سكتے ہیں - ہماری اوپن ٹریڈ اس وقت1.24$ نقصان پر ہے تو

ہماری موجودہ اكوئٹی 1.53.42-1.24 = 152.18 $     ہے-

مارجن: اس سے مراد ہماری موجودہ اوپن ٹریڈ كے لئے استعمال شدہ مارجن ہے- ہم جب بھی كوئی ٹریڈ كرتے ہیں تو بروكر ہمارے بیلنس سے كچھ  مارجن بطور ضمانت نكال لیتا ہے جوكہ ہر بروكر كا لیورج كے مطابق ہوتا ہے- جیسا كہ اوپر ہم نے   0.10   لاٹ  EURUSD خریدا جس كے لئے 1.37$ بطور مارجن استعمال ہوا-

فری مارجن:  ہمارے استعمال شدہ مارجن كے بعد مزید ٹریڈز كرنے كے لئے ہمارے پاس جو مزید مارجن موجود ہے-

Moving Average Crossover Trading Strategy

Moving average crossover trading strategy is my favorite techniques to do trading, 

it is very simple and easy to learn.

Trading systems based on fast moving averages are quite easy to follow.

You can apply this on any currency pair.

Time frame chart: 1 hour or 15 minute chart.

Indicators: 10 EMA, 25 EMA, 50 EMA.
Trade Entry rules: When 10 EMA goes through 25 EMA and continues through 50 EMA, BUY/SELL in the direction of 10 EMA once it clearly makes it through 50 EMA. (Just wait for the current price bar to close on the opposite site of 50 EMA. This waiting helps to avoid false signals).

Exit rules: option1: exit when 10 EMA crosses 25 EMA again.

option2: exit when 10 EMA returns and touches 50 EMA (again it is suggested to wait until the current price bar after so called “touch” has been closed on the opposite side of 50 EMA).


Advantages: Easy to use,  it gives very good results when the market is trending, during big price break-outs and big price moves.
Disadvantages: Fast moving average indicator is a follow-up indicator or it is also called a lagging indicator, which means it does not predict future market directions, but rather reflects current situation on the market. This characteristic makes it vulnerable: firstly, because it can change its signals any time, secondly – because need to watch it all the time; and finally, when market trades sideways (no trend) with very little fluctuation in price it can give many false signals, so it is not suggested to use it during such periods.
